Die Sorte "Neverfloris" bildet die wohl skurrilste Schöpfung aus dem Züchtungshaus der Firma Holtkamp. Sie besitzt einen, für das Usambaraveilchen typischen Blattaufbau. Die Besonderheit liegt in der Blütenanlage, welche zwar sehr stark vorhanden ist, jedoch niemals zu offenen Blüten führt. Die Knospen bleiben, wie auf dem Bild ersichtlich, geschlossen und verleihen der Pflanze Ihr bizarr, dekoratives Erscheinungsbild, welches aufgrund der extremen Haltbarkeit der Pflanze über Wochen erhalten bleibt.

The variety "Neverfloris" stands for one of the strangest and most exciting creations which ever left our breeding department. Featuring the typical plant structure, well known by all African Violet enthusiasts, the development of flowers, shifts the plant far away from what we would call "ordinary". While the plant seems to come up with multiple flower stems, carrying huge amounts of flower bulbs, they will never open to show a finished flower, but remain closed like shown on the picture. The plant keeps this this bizarre - decorative appearance for many weeks, due to the high durability of the "non-flowers".
